She observes the Rudhraksha and is fascinated by it and picks it up... happy. Showing it to her sisters she enquires about what kind of a stone it was. Her sister expresses her shock and explains how it would make their father Prajapati Daksh unhappy if he comes to know that Sati decided to keep it as it belongs to the set of people with different beliefs than theirs. Reluctantly, Sati lets it go in the brook. They return to the palace where Daksh is about to unveil a grand idol of Lord Vishnu. As he uncovers the idol, many including a group of priests present thier for the ceremony express shock as the idol is incomplete. जब भगवान शिव की हुई जलती लकड़ी से पिटाई :- देवों में देव महादेव की कोई जलती लकड़ी से पिटाई करे ऐसा कोई सोच भी नहीं सकता लेकिन, यह बात बिल्कुल सच है। बात कुछ 1360 ई. के आस-पास की है। उन दिनों बिहार के विस्फी गांव में एक कवि हुआ करते थे। कवि का नाम विद्यापति था। कवि होने के साथ-साथ विद्यापति भगवान शिव के अनन्य भक्त भी थे। इनकी भक्ति और रचनाओं से प्रसन्न होकर भगवान शिव को इनके घर नौकर बनकर रहने की इच्छा हुई। भगवान शिव एक दिन एक जाहिल गंवार का वेष बनाकर विद्यापति के घर आ गये। विद्यापति को शिव जी ने अपना नाम उगना बताया। विद्यापति की आर्थिक स्थिति अच्छी नहीं थी अतः उन्होंने उगना को नौकरी पर रखने से मना कर दिया। लेकिन शिव जी मानने वाले कहां थे। सिर्फ दो वक्त के भोजन पर नौकरी करने के लिए तैयार हो गये। इस पर विद्यापति की पत्नी ने विद्यापति से उगना को नौकरी पर रखने के लिए कहा। पत्नी की बात मानकर विद्यापति ने उगना को नौकरी पर रख लिया। एक दिन उगना विद्यापति के साथ राजा के दरबार में जा रहे थे। तेज गर्मी के वजह से विद्यापति का गला सूखने लगा। लेकिन आस-पास जल का कोई स्रोत नहीं था। विद्यापति ने उ...
